Cost Analysis

Cost Analysis

 

Our staff has over 25 years’ experience performing parametric cost analyses in support of NASA, DoD, and commercial aerospace companies. We have received multiple awards recognizing our participation on NASA cost study teams supporting Shuttle, Constellation/Ares, Space Launch System (SLS), and a wide variety of advanced concept programs. We developed and delivered the Operations Cost Model (OCM) for NASA MSFC. We provide a full range of life cycle cost and economic analyses and have a extensive library of parametric cost models and databases. We have demonstrated capability in delivering integrated strategic planning analyses incorporating market, cost, and financial strategies utilizing discounted cash flow and other strategic analysis techniques; performing parametric cost analyses, developing innovative parametric cost analysis methodologies and models; and establishing and refining cost databases.

Preliminary Design & Prototype Development

 

KT Engineering specializes in the rapid development of conceptual and preliminary “clean sheet” designs for aerospace flight hardware, ground support equipment, special test equipment, and tooling. Our engineers work closely with customers to derive requirements and develop conceptual designs using a multidisciplinary team approach. We use Pro Engineer CREO 2 and SolidWorks software to develop CAD models and fabrication blueprints. We use ANSYS 14.0 finite element software for static structural, dynamic, and thermal analysis and MathCad for stress and thermal analysis reporting.
