Position Description:

KT Engineering has an immediate opening for a Senior Analyst – Propulsion to support a fast-paced launch vehicle development program. Candidate may also support an aerospace test facility development initiative. Candidate will perform end-to-end, physics-based modeling to predict pressure and temperature in high-velocity fluid transfer systems and high-pressure pneumatic systems. Candidate will model rocket engine combustion processes and support the design of combustion devices. Candidate will support the creation of propulsion and pneumatic system schematics and perform analyses to size components for these systems. Candidate will support ground testing of propulsion and pneumatic systems to validate and anchor analytical models.

Candidate will be working as a member of a multi-contractor, multi-government agency team and may be required to provide work leadership for other team members. As such, Candidate will be required to have effective (oral and written) communication and interpersonal skills. The position requires a highly motivated, goal-oriented individual who is interested in “hands-on” development and testing.
